Hello dear one,

It’s been a while. A long while, actually — and I want to acknowledge that before anything else. I took 2025 off. Not a vacation, not a slow season. A full, intentional life sabbatical.

The truth is, life had other plans. Multiple circumstances needed my full attention, and honoring them meant I had to realign my focus in a real way. I found myself returning to my own Balancing Being framework — practicing what I preach to navigate my own terrain. It worked. Imagine that 🙃.

The sabbatical wasn’t always graceful. There were stretches of disorientation, moments of real unsteadiness, and more than a few days where I wasn’t sure what came next.

But that’s the forest for you —
dark and overwhelming in some stretches, and full of sustenance and healing in others.

I used my tools, leaned into a new rhythm, restored some balance, and came back to myself. Now I’m back here, with you. Let’s be clear, my work on me is still ongoing, as it should be. And I’m still finding my footing again, but I’m so excited to be ready and energetically available for you all again.

This month also marks five years since I formally started this work. Five years of solopreneuring, coaching, facilitating, growing, learning, pivoting, and championing the humans who find their way to Forest Moonlight. I don’t take that lightly — and I don’t want to let it pass without acknowledgement.

So here’s how I’m choosing to celebrate… I have two important things to share.

First - I am expanding my practice at Forest Moonlight to focus even more explicitly on bringing my alignment tools to small businesses through Fractional COO support.

Second - I am sharing a generous coaching Love Offering in honor of Women’s History Month.

Some of you may not be familiar with the term Fractional COO. It means I would serve as a Chief Operating Officer on a part time or contractual basis. My fractional COO and business consulting work is designed for founders, small business owners, and mission-driven teams who are growing — and feeling it.

As a Fractional COO, I integrate my 20 years of organizational experience across finance, talent, and operations to work as a true operational partner to an executive team. This experience helps me see the whole forest, identify where the misalignment lives, and help you build the infrastructure to move through it with intention.
