Followers, Fans, Friends, and Fam - GREETINGS! I hope that you are Being Well, Doing Well, and Doing More Good in your corner of the planet. While the Gregorian calendar year is starting to wind down, it is also a time of new beginnings for many. Here in the Northern Hemisphere where many of us are, it is the time when summer is winding down. We are getting kids ready for school, or ourselves ready for a new season of learning or growth. We are already starting to think about plans and travel for the holidays (or how to maneuver our way out of making any). The permission that summer often gives us to relax our tight grip on our to-do lists seems to be disappearing along with daylight.
Today, I ask each of you when was the last time you allowed yourself to pause and evaluate those to-do lists - not only from a perspective of time and tasks, but also of emotion, energy, and impact? What is all the busy making better? And for whom? Does your own well being benefit? For too many of us, the answers here range from not really to not a chance. Well friends, I want to live in a world where more of us allow ourselves to receive care, grace, time, attention and high vibration energy from ourselves and those we serve; where more of us feel empowered to make bold, embodied decisions that support our wants and needs; and where we each feel more deeply connected to self and spirit. This is why I am introducing my Restorative Reciprocity Project - an offering especially for driven, kind, get sh*t done people who serve others so often - and often so selflessly.
