The Restorative Reciprocity Project

From September 17  - November 7, 2024,
I am gifting 42 hours of coaching.

The Restorative Reciprocity Project is an offering especially for service-minded, kind-hearted humxns to spend two hours with me to work on living and giving more abundantly - extending the ripples of Restorative Reciprocity.

I want to live in a world where more of us allow ourselves to receive care, grace, time, attention and high vibration energy from ourselves and those we serve; where more of us feel empowered to make bold, embodied decisions that support our wants and needs; and where we each feel more deeply connected to self and spirit.

I want us all to enjoy more Restorative Reciprocity.

Restorative Reciprocity: the feeling of wholistic restoration when we share our time, talents, and treasures with others while we are in alignment with our values and allow our needs and desires to be supported.

The Restorative Reciprocity Project

The Restorative Reciprocity Project is an offering especially for the driven, kind, get sh*t done people who serve others so often and so selflessly.

Between Sept. 17th - Nov. 7th, I am gifting more than 40 hours of coaching.

I am inviting 21 service-minded, kind-hearted humxns to each have a two-hour coaching conversation with me to discuss living and giving more abundantly and extending the ripples of Restorative Reciprocity.

This project is for you if:

✨ You want to make more impact, abundantly pouring into the communities and causes you care about

✨ You are seeking a more RESTORATIVE RECIPROCITY, with yourself and with the people and obligations that are attached to you

✨ You are seeking more balance and harmony across your already vibrant life

✨ You miss that feeling of being LIT UP from the INSIDE

✨ You are ready to examine your excuses, bust your biases, and reawaken your intuition.

✨ You are very inspired, but also might be pretty darn tired

This project may not be for you if:

🫣 You aren’t ready to be honest with yourself about your values, wants, and needs

🫣 You aren’t ready to make challenging choices to improve your own life experience

🫣 You think everyone around you needs to change first

🫣 You think your circumstances are fixed and hopeless

🫣 You don’t believe in intuition, or have no interest in reconnecting with yours

🫣 You know your capacity for deep heart work is limited at this time

How this project came to be…

When it comes to mostly skill or task based endeavors - from playing sports to a role in a musical, or from creating macros in spreadsheets to creating a perfect sweet potato pie, etc - I have been blessed to have some very good and supportive coaches. These people helped me perform at or near the top of my abilities at the time. The good coaches could recognize my skill, had the patience to explain the different ways I could improve, and created scenarios where I could put what I learned into practice. I was ambitious, and I worked hard to achieve.

I didn’t realize until way past burnout, however, that I had been trying to follow a lot of other people’s playbooks that were never made for my path.

I started “counting” my time like it belonged in my bank account, which turned into a silly idea that I could not “afford” to live or to give like I used to.

I started spending more time sitting and less time moving my body.

I started engaging less and less in community service projects.

I let the toil & obligation of service and of achievement sever my spiritual connection and crush my well-being.

My body, my brain, my well being, and my livelihood all started to suffer. On top of all that, I had the nerve to feel GUILTY!

Guilty for not being higher on that damn ladder.

Guilty for not giving my body more attention.

Guilty for not giving my communities and my causes more attention.

Guilty for not having the comfortable life I was supposed to have achieved.

Guilty for feeling like I “wasted” so much time, even though I never sat still.

Climbing the ladder started to feel more like climbing a waterfall - feeling overwhelmed, out of breath, exhausted, unable to get a grasp on anything.

I felt like I’d abandoned myself and was watching myself drown.

Too many of us have felt this way or are currently feeling this way…
that we are crushed, drowning, and still trying to give from the proverbial empty cup.

Too many of us are feeling guilty for even thinking of letting something go or someone down, and so we start to abandon our True Selves. I certainly did.

But my True Self wouldn’t have it.

She knew there was still an opportunity to live and give more abundantly,
and she raised hell until I got the memo.

I finally realized I had some decisions to make.
First, I decided to listen to myself with intention (vs irritation).
Then, I had to decide to believe there was a way out.
Finally, I was ready and able to take action.

I started my new journey with traditional talk therapy.

My counselor helped me clean my lenses to see the waterfall for what it was.

My therapist helped me move out of survival mode to begin my healing journey, and gave me tools to navigate back to solid ground.

Later, I started investing in support from a Life Coach in addition to therapy.

✨Game Changer ✨

“I help build more awareness of your personal agency and help you increase capacity to live and give more abundantly through Restorative Reciprocity.”

- Chanta Monique

Life Coaching is more than just a relationship seeking to make “measurable” improvements on a particular skill or task. Working with my life coach unlocked my entitlement to question which skills I wanted to utilize or improve, and to deeply examine my WHY.

We explored, with compassion and without guilt or shame, whether my WHY had evolved over time or completely changed. My coach believed that my feelings about it all mattered and helped me believe the same.

Most importantly, I was constantly reminded that I do not have to prove I am worthy or good or generous by martyring myself - in fact, I didn’t have to prove any of those things at all.

I was able to reassess how my needs and values had evolved without wishing they were different. I remembered that I can be of service to others without being in perpetual servitude to others.

I had been trained as a coach and provided coaching for decades - mostly executive coaching and professional development coaching. Now, as a Wholistic Wealth and Wellness coach, I combine approaches to provide integrated support to my clients.

Through my practice and this project, I am devoting my time, talent, and treasures toward facilitating more joy and justice, and I am LIT UP!

Join me in the Restorative Reciprocity Project. Allow me to shine some light on your path and help stabilize your wobble through the transition.
